We inform you about the current situaton on the trail

The Arlberg Trail season is already running and we are happy to receive many requests for the trail. Some have already mastered the 2023 challenge, for many the adventure is still waiting.
We would like to briefly describe the current conditions on the trail:

Stage St. Anton – Stuben:
Can be hiked without any problems. Please note at St. Christoph that the Berggeistweg starts behind Gasthof Valluga. Do not follow the old trail that began before the Heinirch-Findelkind Tunnel. This is no longer maintained. The Kaltenberghütte is looking forward to your visit.

Stage Stuben – Lech:
Walkable without any problems. The waterfall below the Flexenpass currently carries a lot of water. The Zürsersee has a very beautiful colouring and the Madloch can also be walked without difficulty.

Stage Lech – St. Anton:
The last snow fields in the Ochsengümple area have disappeared. Up to the Erlijoch and down to the Erlachalpe everything is well passable. After the steeper ascent to Knoppenkarsee, you finally reach the large Karmulde, where there is a lot of snow this summer. Here follows a longer section uphill on snow (approx. 250 metres in altitude). There is also still a lot of snow in the Vallugamulde area. It is essential to use hiking poles for this section. Plan an extra 30 minutes until mid-August.

We are always happy to receive feedback! If you notice anything, please let us know at one of the tourist offices!
