The Arlberg Trail – The mountains are calling

The sporty long-distance hiking trail seamlessly connects all five Arlberg resorts: Lech, Zürs, Stuben, St. Christoph, and St. Anton. This impressive tour covers a total of 40 km of hiking trails spread across three stages, set against breathtaking alpine scenery — with convenient cable car support along the way.

The well-signposted circular route extends for 50 km in total, with nearly one-fifth of the distance covered by cable car. Completing the full hike takes approximately 18 hours and involves an elevation difference of 6,038 metres on foot.

For optimal coordination of hiking routes and cable car rides, it’s recommended to start from St. Anton, Lech, or Stuben in a clockwise direction.

For those seeking a less demanding experience, individual stages or easier route variations are also available.
