Start of the season 2022

The warm spring was a blessing for the Arlberg Trail. In its first month, the trail is already almost completely snow-free. Only on the section between Lech and St. Anton am Arlberg is residual snow still to be expected on half of the long ascent to Knoppenkar and in the Valluga area.
We have been out and about on this section this week and have re-marked it with striking red paint, especially in the Erlacher Alpe and Knoppenkar areas. In addition, further signs are being ordered for this section to make orientation easier.

Please note the walking time – you can expect 7 hours. The last descent to St. Anton is at 16:30.
