Dear Arlberg Trail hikers,
due to works in the area of the upper Madloch, there will be restrictions this summer on the challenging route from Stuben to Lech. To ensure your safety, the descent from the Madlochjoch via the Gstütalpe to Zug is closed until further notice.
We ask you to respect the closure and either take the signposted alternative route or choose one of the easier routes.
This route offers scenic views as it leads via the Stierloch and the Zug waterfall to Zug, and on via the Lechuferweg to Lech, providing a wonderful mountain experience away from the closed area.

The Seekopfbahn in Zürs is also out of service until further notice. During operating hours (8.30 am – 5.00 pm), shuttle buses will run between the valley station and the mountain station. As during normal operations, the journey is included in the Arlberg Trail Ticket.
