To ensure your safety, the descent from the Madlochjoch via the Gst\u00fctalpe to Zug is closed until further notice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We ask you to respect the closure and either take the signposted alternative route or choose <a href=\"https:\/\/arlbergtrail.com\/en\/stages\/stuben-lech\/\">one of the easier routes<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This route offers scenic views as it leads via the Stierloch and the Zug waterfall to Zug, and on via the Lechuferweg to Lech, providing a wonderful mountain experience away from the closed area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/arlbergtrail.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/lechzuerstourismus_madlochsperre3.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5997\" srcset=\"https:\/\/arlbergtrail.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/lechzuerstourismus_madlochsperre3.webp 600w, https:\/\/arlbergtrail.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/lechzuerstourismus_madlochsperre3-300x225.webp 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Route:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.komoot.com\/de-de\/tour\/3107079640\">Arlberg Trail &#8211; Stuben-Lech (challenging) ! Diversion Summer 2026 | Hike | Komoot<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Seekopfbahn in Z\u00fcrs is also out of service until further notice. During operating hours (8.30 am \u2013 5.00 pm), shuttle buses will run between the valley station and the mountain station.
